Competition Training
It is Steven Smart’s aim to provide the most extensive competition hairdressing training available to the top British Hairdressing Salons and Colleges. As current consultant to UK Skills and Euro Skills, Steven has helped mentor and educate a Euro Skills Gold Medallist and three World Skills competitors. All achieving medals of Excellence.
With over 60 national and international competition wins, Steven Smart is one of the most successful competition hairdressers Britain has ever produced. Steven won the ultimate accolade of World Champion at Chicago Hairworld 2008, becoming only the second Briton ever to win a World Title in Ladies Hairdressing. Other notable achievements include being European Hairdressing Champion since 2005 to 2009 and 8 British Championship titles.
Steven has won competitions covering all areas of hairdressing. Cutting, Colouring, Styling and Long hair in his career, and has trained many competition winners, including International Colour Champions and British Creative Champions.
In 2011, London, England will host the World Skills Championships Final. For organisations that have students involved, it will prove to be the greatest promotional opportunity available to them.
Through national and international government backing of the World Skills Events, the college will benefit enormously through publicity within the education and public sector.
The organisations or salons that have competitors involved can themselves benefit enormously from regional and National press coverage, generating huge publicity in both public and trade media.
